Nintendo’s debut 3D home console, theN64, is something of a mixed bag for a lot of gamers, even diehard fans of the Big N. However, it certainly broke new ground; both graphically, and with its 4 player multiplayer functionality. On top of this, N64 is renowned when it comes to its array of colorful, charming platforming games, particularly from Nintendo themselves, and from one of their biggest second party studios,Rare. While there are a number of great ones that hold up to this day, some aren’t quite as outstanding as fans may have remembered them over 20 years ago....

Activision currently has aDestiny-sized hole in its line-up of games, with Bungie going independent and taking its franchise with it. But whileActivision was comfortable with Bungie’s departure, it apparently isn’t content to let theDestiny’s audience escape. A new rumor claims that Activision is working with a third-party partner to “fill the gap thatDestinyonce filled.” That studio and what exactly kind of game they’re developing remains a mystery, however. TheGamingRevolution YouTube channel, which has provided accurateCall of Duty-related leaksin the past, cites an anonymous source for this Activision information....

Earlier this year, rumors started swirling that Nintendo had twoSwitchrevisions in development. One would be a cheaper, handheld-only Switch, and the other would be a more expensive, upgraded version of the console. Eventually, half the rumor was proven true when Nintendo officially announced the Switch Lite, the handheld-only Switch that retails for just $199 compared to the $299 price of the standard console. The rumored Switch Pro has yet to be officially revealed, but more information on it may have leaked....

Summary Naughty Dogis undoubtedly one of the greatest video game development companies in the business. Founded in 1984, the company has become famous for its slew of incredible franchises, includingCrash Bandicoot,The Last of Us, and theUnchartedseries. Most of the studio’s games are critically acclaimed, so it can be hard to separate the greatest of the great from the great but flawed. Thankfully, by looking at the Metacritic numbers, players can at least get some idea of which are the very best Naughty Dog games....

A letter condemningBlizzard’s decision to banHearthstoneplayer Blitzchungafter he made a pro-Hong Kong statement on an official broadcast has been issued by five US Members of Congress. In a bipartisan effort, the five Senators and Congressmen signed a letter written by Oregon Senator Ron Wyden urges Activision CEO Bobby Kotick to reconsider his company’s recent actions. Wyden accuses Blizzard of giving in to Beijing’s demands in order to preserve market access, to the detriment of freedom of speech and thought....

Then there was a recent H3H3 podcast where the hosts theorized that Delphine’s disappearance may be because she was arrested. Not long after that podcast aired, Delphine posted what she claimed to be a mugshot on Twitter, seemingly confirming the theory that she was arrested. There’s no denying thatPokemon GOhas made some amazing improvements in the years since it launched. When it comes to any RPG game with a level cap, end-game content should always be a big part of the design goals.Borderlands 3has lots, thankfully. The game was obviously designed with the late game in mind with features like True Vault Hunter Mode, Mayhem Mode, and the Wave Survival Zones. But, while the gameplay itself was designed in this way, there are a few quality-of-life changes it needs that Vault Hunter’s will only notice once they reach max level....
